The luminaire is designed using natural materials like cotton fabric and wood. Embracing a sustainable approach, the fixture features a fabric diffuser dyed using botanical sources, including foraged plants and food waste. The fabrication process involves the slow-making technique of Kantha, a traditional patchwork quilting method from India. When illuminated, the embroidered pattern and layering of fabric create an effect inspired by stained glass. The luminaire is lightweight and airy, emitting natural white LED light that produces a warm yellow effect when diffused through the yellow-dyed fabric.
